Cape Breton Reflexology

Cape Breton Reflexology is a home-based Reflexology business owned and operated by Simone Dixon in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia.

Cape Breton Reflexology is all about helping people feel their absolute best. Providing a client centred, relaxing experience is my #1 priority. My goal is to help every client achieve balance, wellness and relaxation in their lives. Many clients report a deep sense of relaxation and better sleeping patterns after only one reflexology massage! When the body is relaxed, the healing can begin.

I am a certified hand and foot reflexologist through the Universal College of Reflexology. A lifelong passion for holistic therapy, coupled with  over 13 years of  Reflexology experience, helps me achieve positive results with my clients.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a holistic therapy in which pressure is applied to specific small areas on the feet and hands. It is a non-invasive, safe, natural therapy that induces a deeply relaxed state, which alleviates tension, mild anxiety, and stress from everyday living. A further effect is that it triggers the body's own inner healing process, improves all the body’s functions and encourages the natural healing process to work more efficiently.

Testimonials

michelle

I had been seeing Simone monthly for years as part of my wellness routine. Reflexology complements massage therapy, getting my feet done the week before massage opens things up(like my chronic neck and shoulder tension)and the benefits of the massage holds longer than just massage alone.

I have been aware that Simone’s work on the reflex points for allergies was beneficial but none more than the spring during Covid shutdown. Not being able to see her during the height of allergy season was miserable. The year before I breezed through barely taking any antihistamines, this year I had to be sure to take them before I even opened a window.

You will be amazed at how your life can improve by putting your feet in Simone’s hands.

I highly recommend Simone if you are looking for a reflexologist. She is very passionate about reflexology and what health benefits it can bring. She truly does have that “Magic Touch” . I went to her for my plantar fasciitis and she worked and worked the area over a period of time until I could walk without limping and pain. She is a true professional!

Simone is by far the best reflexologist I've been to and I've tried quite a few in this area. I love her happy, beautiful personality. And I absolutely Love the skill she has in working my feet and hands. Thank you Simone. I really appreciate your service and your smiles.

I love the results I get using reflexology; my body is happier, my digestion works better, the pain in my arm is relieved, the TMJ is disappearing and many more benefits, especially like my energy is rocketing. I go once a week whether I need it or not... I need and love it. Keeps me happy and healthy. Oh yeah and the pain in my neck is mostly gone and seldom bothers me like it used to.

foot reflexology

In reflexology, pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the foot. These points correspond to organs and areas of the body. The treatment induces a healing response, even alleviating some ailments. Beyond the feel-good effects of the treatment, the practice and purpose go deeper than the skin and muscles. Kneading the soft fleshy ball of the foot, pulling on the toes, tracing around the heel and pushing deep into the arch are just a few of the movements you’ll experience during a treatment.

hand reflexology

Hand Reflexology is a ancient healing technique, and a form of touch therapy that applies pressure on specific areas on the hands. Practitioners believe the body is an interconnection of reflex points that correspond to different organs and body parts. Various combinations of finger and thumb techniques are used on specific reflex points in the hand to bring stress and pain relief.
